Song of Diversity: A Symphony of Strength & Spirit

In celebration of Enabling Village's 10th anniversary, MS Academy launched Song of Diversity: A Symphony of Strength & Spirit — a songwriting competition empowering persons with and without disabilities to create, express and shine through music.
The journey began in August 2025 with songwriting workshops for participants with and without disabilities. Entries opened from August to September and drew 17 original submissions. A panel of staff from SG Enable, Enabling Village and Republic Polytechnic shortlisted the top five, and public voting followed in October.
In November, Build Bridges was declared the winner on the strength of public votes and judges' scores. Written by Toby, a person with disability, and Dean, a fellow participant without disability, the pair first met during the workshops and discovered a shared passion for music about unity and understanding. Their song carries an uplifting message about forming connections, embracing differences and building a more inclusive community.
The winning song became a music video, produced in November with students from Republic Polytechnic and launched on 5 December 2025 as part of Enabling Village's 10th anniversary celebrations.
