About MS Academy

Music Solutions has been teaching music in Singapore since 1999. For over two decades, our trainers have brought music into mainstream schools, SPED schools, eldercare centres and community spaces, working with learners of every age and ability. In June 2023, Music Solutions became a registered social enterprise — a formal commitment to putting inclusion and community impact at the centre of everything we do.

MS Academy grew out of a simple observation: music education in Singapore has never been built with persons with disabilities in mind. Mainstream studios and enrichment centres are rarely set up for learners who use wheelchairs, who are non-verbal, who are on the autism spectrum, or who simply learn differently. That gap in access meant that many families never got the chance to discover what music could do for their children — or for themselves. MS Academy exists to close that gap, offering lessons designed from the ground up to be adaptive, welcoming and genuinely inclusive, for children, teens, adults, caregivers and neurotypical learners alike.

Our home reflects that mission. MS Academy is based at Enabling Village, Singapore’s first inclusive community space designed for persons with disabilities, at Enabling Village, 20 Lengkok Bahru. Being part of this community gives our learners barrier-free access to our studios and puts us alongside other disability-friendly organisations, employers and services — so music learning is one part of a much bigger, more accessible ecosystem.
